- 1. Production Services. Producer will produce the recording(s) described in the Scope of Work.
- 2. Fee & Royalties. Artist will pay the Total Fee as an advance. Producer is entitled to the royalty points stated in the Scope of Work, recoupable from the advance.
- 3. Credit. Producer will be credited as "Produced by" the Producer's printed name on all releases where credits appear.
- 4. Ownership. Artist owns the master recordings. Producer retains their share of the underlying composition as stated in the Scope of Work.
- 5. Independent Relationship. The parties are independent contractors. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship.
- 6. Governing Law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state stated in the Agreement Details, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
- 7. Entire Agreement. This Agreement is the complete agreement between the parties and replaces all prior discussions. Changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
